I'M GETTING PUBLISHED!

Dear Writing Diary,

This will be a short but life-changing entry: I’m getting published!

That is…over the next few months and in 2025, I will be publishing my own works myself. As I’ve mentioned in my previous entries, over the last decade, I’ve been trying to get published through the traditional route of having an agent who pitches my manuscripts to editors. However, recent developments (which I’ll talk more about in a later Dear Writing Diary entry) have caused me to re-evaluate my approach to fulfilling my lifelong dream of getting my books and stories into readers’ hands. As a result, I’ve come to the conclusion that I will embark on the both exhilarating and terrifying new adventure of self-publishing my works in order to share them with the world.

In later Dear Writing Diary entries, I will write more about my highs and lows of this process, but for now, I couldn’t wait to write this news down.
